Essential Question: Is the Blob about the death of small towns?
BINACA SPRAY!!!
There is a lot about this movie that highlights the town.
There is def a managed care critique and had moments of the military that seemed ripped from Dr. Strangelove.
For this, I re-watched both Blobs back-to-back, so I can talk a little about their similarities/differences.
Also, I just want to point out that this was released in 1988, exactly 30 years after the original, meaning that if Rob Zombie’s (extremely weird-sounding) version had gotten made and come out in 2018, we would have kept up the pattern.

The real town, its like Seaside. Feels like a planned community.
