We love this movie at Signal Horizon and it almost made our Top 10 Horror Movies Of 2019. Pretty much the only reason it doesn’t is its technically a 2018 film. It is a hilariously good time perfect for horror fans and comedy fans alike.
Tigers Are Not Afraid

This is a personal favorite of our editor who said it punched him in his parental gut with the scares and feels. In fact, this is his top pick for 2019 without exception. It’s beautifully rendered and wildly imaginative.
Hagazussa
In a remote Alpine village in the 15th century lives a marked woman. The scapegoat of ancient superstitions and monstrous misogyny, this self-styled witch begins to assert her otherworldly birthright. This atmospheric debut feature from Lukas Feigelfeld is a haunting pagan death trip and a startling vision of psychedelic horror.

Suspicion is rife and tensions run high as some will do anything to survive and make it to the safe zone.
Cast: Yoo Gong, Yu-mi Jung, Dong-seok Ma
An emotional and tense film, Train is an amazing zombie flick. The zombies are plentiful and terrifying, and the protagonists are easy to root for. This is the type of horror movie that will make you cry just as easily as it scares you.
Terrified
On an ordinary suburban street in Buenos Aires, voices are heard from kitchen sinks. Bodies are levitating. Evil is here. It is up to a doctor, her colleague, and an ex-cop to get to the bottom of this neighborhood nightmare. Demian Rugna’s must-see TERRIFIED is one of the scariest movies of 2018. A SHUDDER ORIGINAL.
Cast: Maxi Ghione, Norberto Amadeo Gonzalo, Elvira Onetto, George Lewis, Agustín Rittano
This is easily the creepiest film on the list. There are several scenes that are just bone-deep chilling. This is a great movie to watch if you are looking to really scare yourself, but beware it packs a punch and shouldn’t be watched to close to bedtime.
