The Horror Pod Class: Episode 131 Halloween Kills
Welcome to Episode 131 of the Horror Pod Class. My name is Tyler Unsell and by day I am a just an ordinary teacher but by night I transform to an ordinary teacher who likes to talk about spooky shit. I am joined tonight as I am most nights by The cohostest with the mostest. The sauciest skeleton I know…Orrin Grey. What have you been up to since we last appeared here man?
Orrin
Tyler: Tonight we are going to discuss what we have been reading and watching, highlight some free content on the internet with our dark corner of the web and finally we will pick up our pitchforks and gather at the Hadodnfield mall and attempt to tackle Halloween Kills.
What are we Watching?
Tyler: Summer 0f 84, new Scream release.
Orrin: I just saw Antlers last night at a press screening, and my review should be up at Signal shortly!
Dark Corners of the Web
Junji Ito talking about internet monsters on Tik Tok. Yes please.
Essential Question: How does Halloween Kills use the Rashomon Narration Style.

Very brave, in this day and age, to set a movie in a town where every character has severe brain damage.
The only thing I got out of this movie was an impatient sense of irritation, and a suspicion that taking a two hour shit would have been a more poignant experience.
It’s not worth watching. It’s not worth thinking about. It’s narrative mess and miserable waste of time. There is no plot, there are no characters, everyone is a fucking idiot and deserve to die.
Next Time: New Candyman
Tyler has been the editor in chief of Signal Horizon since its conception. He is also the Director of Monsters 101 at Truman State University a class that pairs horror movie criticism with survival skills to help middle and high school students learn critical thinking. When he is not watching, teaching or thinking about horror he is the Director of Debate and Forensics at a high school in Kansas City, Missouri.
